A diferencia de años anteriores, la ceremonia de premiación que se llevó a cabo el 9 de enero de 2022 no fue trasmitida por televisión. Los ganadores se dieron a conocer en redes sociales.
The Power of the Dog al igual que Amor sin barreras, el remake de Steven Spielberg, se llevaron tres premios cada una. Sin tiempo para morir, Duna, Rey Richard y Belfast -próximamente en cines- también triunfaron.
