Robot salvaje se convirtió en la gran favorita de la noche.
Consolidada como una de las premiaciones más grandes en la industria del entretenimiento, los Annie Awards ya tienen a sus ganadores del 2025.
Hablando de los mejores títulos que conquistaron la pantalla grande y chica a través de la animación, los Annie Awards son los premios que buscan reconocer el trabajo de los artistas y dibujantes más importantes de Hollywood y, asimismo, eliminar el estigma de que la animación es un producto hecho para niños. Desde su creación en 1972, la Asociación Internacional de Cine Animado se ha encargado de conmemorar las historias y avances en el proceso narrativo detrás de un pincel.
Ahora, tras un año de fuertes contendientes, para su edición número 52, los Annie Awards se caracterizaron por una competencia muy reñida en cuanto al talento y las historias de las series y películas. Además de contar con el regreso de Disney y Pixar, los cuales se ausentaron el año pasado, se desenvolvieron cartas trascendentes de la animación por parte de muchos estudios.
Desde las producciones hechas para la televisión, hasta las voces pequeñas en el medio, como Sacrebleu Productions con Flow, la ceremonia sin duda sacaó la casta por la animación más vanguardista. Entre ellos, Robot salvaje de DreamWorks, Ultraman de Tsuburaya Productions, ¡y hasta el regreso de Wallace & Gormit! Sin duda, una competencia tan reñida como los mismos Premios Oscar.
La gala se llevó en el teatro de artes escénicas Royce Hall, en Los Ángeles, California, pero no estuvo exenta de problemas. A la mitad de la ceremonia comenzó a sonar una alarma contra incendios, por lo que una voz pidió a los asistentes desalojar el recinto. La ceremonia fue suspendida de inmediato, pero se retomó momentos más tarde.
